Angela Culpepper
Upon, graduating from High School with Honors, Angela attained a degree in Fashion Designing and a Bachelor’s degree in Business with an emphasis in Leadership.
Angela’s believes it’s imperative to assist the youth in the Community by providing the
tools/resources in order to expand their life skills beyond their local Community along with Community outreach to the leaders in the Community so that we are kept informed on City initiatives. Being knowledgeable and aware is Power!
Angela was elected as the President of the Long Beach Polytechnic High School Football
Booster Program in Long Beach Ca. from 2011-2013.
Angela is current member of the Women of AT&T Southern California Chapter from 2016 to
present.
Angela is currently a Board member of the Drew League Foundation from October 2020 to
present.
Professional/Personal Experiences:
Elected President of Long Beach Polytechnic High School Athletics Program for 3 years
(2010 and 2012). facilitated, conducted monthly Board meetings, planned all areas of the
program which included uniform disbursement, banquet planning, creating awards
criteria, soliciting the community and previous Alumni's for donations/sponsorships etc.
raised over $40,000 each year while President. The funds that we raised afforded us the
opportunity to provide Coach stipends, recognition, Community activities/events. We
planned and coordinated the Hall of Fame Gala in 2011 at the Hyatt Hotel in Long Beach
and much more. Angela was very dedicated and instrumental in making the program
successful in building comradery/collaboration amongst my Board members, Volunteer
Staff, Parents and Student Athletes.
Elected on the Board for Women of AT&T as Vice President of Operations/Hospitality 4
years (2015-Present). Angela’s position entailed coordination, planning, organization and
negotiation for all events and activities.
30+ years as an Executive Manager with AT&T - Managed large groups and was
recognized year over year for exceeding all goals/expectations by my leadership.
Angela is currently a licensed Real Estate Agent in California since 2000 and Georgia
since 2017.

Graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Arizona State University in Tempe Arizona.
Worked at Apple from 2016 to 2023.
Co-Owner of Nouvintage Sunglass Company which was established in 2016. The Nouvintage Sunglasses were worn by Snoop Dog during the 2022 Superbowl Halftime Show performance.
Employed Fulltime as a Account Manager for KASEYA IT and Security Software Technology Company.

Maria has a retail sales background. She began her career with AT&T in 2006. Thanks to Maria’s retail expertise, today she serves as a liaison among cross-functional teams and oversees Retail Marketing Projects.
Maria is an active WOA board member and has served on the WOA Southern California board as VP of Community Service since November 2017 and she led many successful community events.
Maria co-chaired and planned multiple WOA SoCal Leadership Luncheons since 2019 to present.
Maria was elected President of the Women of AT&T Southern California Chapter for 2021-2022 and 2023-2024 terms. Maria proudly represents Women of AT&T Southern California Chapter on the local and national level.
Maria received Presidential Volunteer Service Awards every year since 2017 through 2023.
Maria is married and has 2 children and two puppies. In her free time, you can find her spending time with her family, cooking and traveling.
